A Special Guest for Catholic Schools Week Assembly
This week was Catholic Schools Week with the theme focusing on 'Communities of Service'.
Catholic schools recognise and acknowledge Jesus as our role model and teacher, because Jesus served every person regardless of creed, background, faith, social status or age.
On Tuesday, this week we held a full-school assembly, for which all the pupils, staff, governors and wider school community welcomed a very special guest from our diocese, Bishop Duffy.
Thank you in particular to the school council, Eoghan and Michael McElroy for wonderful traditional music, Karen McElroy for music, and the Primary 7 pupils for hosting the assembly.
Finally, a huge thanks to Bishop Duffy for joining us for the day in St Ronan's, attending our assembly, visiting classes, speaking with many pupils and experiencing our Grandparent's Day celebrations.
