Last week, we started our Critical Literacy Project with the Irish News. Each week, the pupils will receive a school edition version of the Irish News.
There will be a range of tasks to complete based on articles in the newspaper.
We discussed what Critical Literacy meant and how we can use these skills in everyday life. To finish off we had some free browsing time along with a cup of tea, a slice of toast or a pancake! It was a great social morning and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
