Our Sustrans active travel officer Ann-Marie visited the school on Wednesday to present us with the Sustrans Silver School Mark Award.
Pupils have put in a massive effort over the past few months to incorporate active travel and physical activity into their school and home lives. Well done to all our children, staff, parents, PTFA, and wider school community who have partook in and helped encourage active travel to and from school.
We are delighted to see so many children continuing to walk and cycle everyday! We hope to have a lot more active travel events organised for the next school year.
Ann-Marie also presented us with a spectre scooter and helmet which we won after finishing as the best large school in the south-west! We can't wait to share this with the children over the next few weeks.
