St Ronan's very own archaeologists!
12th Sep 2022
A great morning was had in the Kilmacrannell area of Lisnaskea. P5/6 had an opportunity to take part in an archaeological dig. The area is a rath which has many links to the historical Maguires of Fermanagh.
The boys and girls really enjoyed their morning and found it very interesting. James Rice even managed to find a piece of a sword dated back to 5000 years ago. Who knows we might have some future archaeologists on our hands.
