'Spring has Sprung' in P6
The children have been working extremely hard in P6 so today we enjoyed a little, 'Brain Break' outside. The children focused on still life drawing by drawing some of the beautiful daffoldils that are growing around the school.
Sometimes life can get very busy in P6 and it is very important that we teach the children the importance of pausing to relax and appreciate all the beautiful things that we have around us. When the children were focusing on the daffodils it gave them a chance to slow down, relax and focus on the detail of what was infront of them. Even better that we got to enjoy this activity in the lovely sunshine. :-)
When the children had finished we planted some pansies in the animal flower beds that are going to be at the entrance of our Polytunnel. A great days work!
