The children really look forward to Friday's PE session with Ross. The focus has been on learning and developing hockey skills.
In previous sessions the children have encountered dribbling and striking. They have developed more knowledge of spacial awareness, movement, defense and attack.
Today Ross allowed the children to demonstrate their skills in some mini games.
This also provided an opportunity to revisit the purpose of games in our class. While we know they may be a little competitive; participation, inclusiveness, teamwork and just having fun, means we can all be winners regardless of any scores.
