It has been a fun filled week with lots of different Science experiments and investigations happening in P6.
P6 took part in a great workshop led by Gérard Hughes from Sentinus. They also got to visit the Science labs in St Kevin's College. The boys and girls got to learn about acids and alkalis, and how alkali metal reacts with water. A very informative and exciting morning by the Science Leadership in St. Kevin's.
P6, also, got to complete their own individual experiment called 'Rainbow in a Jar'. They got to look at and understand the different material's density and how they worked together. They used honey, washing up liquid, olive oil, water and food colouring to complete their rainbow. Have a look at some of our photos to get an inside look.
