Easter Holidays Our school will close for the Easter holidays on Thursday 2nd April at 11.00am and reopen on Monday 13th April. Wishing all our pupils and families a happy and enjoyable Easter break.
As a reward for their efforts in class, P6/7 had an experiments day!
For the first part of the day, we looked at static electricity using balloons! Pupils learned about positive and negative charges.
We also learned about surface tension and how water is 'sticky'. We did by using coins, droppers and water. Pupils got very competitive when seeing who would break the water membrane on the coin first! We then took the experiment outside!
As part of our instructional writing, we also made a few alka-seltzer rockets! More on this later.
