Science in P6/7
26th Oct 2023
P6/7 have been learning about a number of biology topics this half-term. We have been looking at different ecosystems around the world and what kind of animals and plants inhabit these. We have also used Lough Neagh as a case study for environmental protection.
We studied animal adaptations in depth and learned about the peppered moth which had a very difficult time during the Victoria era. Pupils also used their creativity to design animals with a variety of strange adaptations. Have a look at some of these weird and wonderful creatures below!
We will studying a range of physics and chemistry topics after mid-term.
