Egg Science Experiment in P3/4

The children in P3/4 had great fun exploring how exposure to different liquids would affect our teeth.
In our experiment the eggs represented teeth with the hard outer shell of the egg replicating the enamel of our teeth.
During this experiment the children were also tasked with assessing how toothpaste might help protect our teeth.
A plain egg and an egg smeared with toothpaste were submerged in four different liquids.
- Water
- Fizzy Mineral
- Tea / Coffee mixture
- Vinegar
