'Road Safety Week'
20th Nov 2020
As part of 'Road Safety Week' Primary 2 & 3 talked about the importance of reflective jackets and reflectors on clothes and footwear to stay safe and be seen by vehicle lights when we are going to school in the darker mornings and going home in the darker evenings. We darkened our classroom and used a torch to show the difference between someone who wears reflective stripes and someone who does not.
We also talked about walking safely on footpaths and using the green cross code STOP, LOOK and LISTEN when we cross the road.
We had a practise using our three zebra crossings alongside the car park of our school.
