Last week the children in P4 put their understanding of Venn Diagrams to the test in a fun practical way. Having made themselves personalised name tags we headed for the hall. Then making use of some PE equipment (hula hoops), maths equipment and criteria labels we created a selection of Venn diagrams.
The children then split into three groups and started at one of the stations. Each child placed their name tag into the diagram before discussing and verifying why with their group members to ensure everyone agreed on the final solution.
They made their way around the all stations. Take a look at the pictures for their results.
Excellent work all round that resulted in improved understanding of Data Handling in this area.
