Outdoor Education - Data Loggers
20th Jan 2023
P7 were out in the cold again yesterday! This time, they were collecting data from different locations around the school. The data included temperature, light (lumens) and noise (decibels). They used data loggers to collect the data.
When we returned to class, we analysed the information collected and decided what site would be best for certain activities such as building a campfire, reading a book, hibernating, and growing vegetables.
This was a great practical introduction to data collection in P7. We will taking a closer look at data collection in February and will also cover mean, median, mode and range.
Well done to P7 for braving the elements all week and getting some excellent work completed outdoors!
