Mobility Madness!
P7 took a break from all the hard work they've been doing in class and completed some much needed mobility exercises!
We looked at hip mobility and used exercises such as duck, crab and gorilla walks to open up our hip joints. Some children were given footballs to engage their upper body also. We then completed some duck fighting and one leg around the world's in pairs.
After this, we completed a fitness challenge (Get out of jail!) which would help our Gaelic skills too. Pupils had to work in pairs and hand pass a ball between each other with one person holding a squat position and the other completing up-downs between each pass. The exercise was finished when two nominated pupils completed 20 hand passes and a sprint. Everyone was glad to get out of jail!
We finished with a game of crab football which allowed us to work on our shoulder mobility and two balls were used to encourage communication and team play.
