Our KS2 Mini Marathon is less than two weeks away!
P5-7 will be dusting off their runners and hitting the roads as they complete a 4km run/walk from Holy Cross Church to the School!
This is a fundraising event and money raised will go towards athletics and digital equipment. A proportion of the money raised will also be donated to a charity decided by the student council. Pupils fundraising forms are being distributed.
The Mini Marathon will take place between 10:15 and 11:30 on Friday 24th of May. P5-7 pupils will walk from the school to the chapel before starting the event at 10:15. They will follow the Knocks Road before turning on to the Moat Road and then they will be on to the home straight on the Nutfield Road.
Supervisors including adult walkers and runners, and marshals are in place. Parents are invited to watch their child in the school car park from 10:45. Participants will finish on the hill outside the Nursery building before entering the top playground to enjoy some well-earned refreshments. Please note parents/guardians are not permitted to enter the school building without permission from staff. All pupils will need to be signed in once they cross the finish line and must remain in the top playground until directed otherwise.
