Miss Bradley's class have been busy learning all about Mary and why she is so special to us. We have been learning about special prayers relating to Mary and how powerful they are when we are in need.
We have been learning all about the Rosary and how to say in it class.
The children have been very creative and made their own Rosary beads along with the help of Mrs Treacy. They followed instructions and were able to thread the small beads onto the string themselves - not as easy of a task as it first looked. When we were finished we took the Rosary beads up to mass and Cannon Jimmy very kindly blessed them for us. Owen was able to give a pair of Rosary beads that he had made for his Granny to her at the chapel as she was there too. Fianna and Rebecca even got a chance to lead the congregation in a decade of the Rosary, and the rest of the class joined in too.
