The pupils form Mrs. McGirr's, Mr. Carey's and Mr. Hanna's classes attended Mass in Holy Cross Church on Wednesday morning.
The celebrant, Father Pearse was delighted to see the children.
The children enjoyed contributing during the Mass with many good answers to Father Pearse's questions.
As part of our Grow in Love programme,we had a tour of the church after the Mass had ended. Fr Pearse and Jim were on hand to discuss and explain the various focal points in our beautiful church such as the altar table, the Sanctuary lamp, the Baptismal font and the Tabernacle.
Mr. Carey's class went to the graveyard and prayed for our dead relatives and friends and blessed the graves with Holy Water.
