Internet Safety
Hi everyone,
In my role as ICT coordinator it is important that I stay in communication with parents and give them as much information as possible around staying safe when online.
Today is internet safety day and while children will be completing some tasks in school it is important that you also stay up-to-date with information to keep your children safe when they are using technology.
Below you will find a link that will explain 'The 6 apps and services that every parent should know about'. So read on for the brief guides to Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp and Skype – and don’t forget that the best way to learn about them is to give them a go yourself.
I have also added a link from UK Safer Internet Centre that gives you more depth information about different social media sites children may want to use and what you should be aware of when they are accessing them.

Finally, I have also added a link to some resources you may wish to carry out with your children at home throughout the coming week. They are aimed at children aged 3-11.
