History Award
Over the past number of years St. Ronan's has worked closely with the Lisnaskea Historical Society in presenting a re-enactment of the "Fair Day" in the Market Yard in the middle of the town. This has become an event which is firmly fixed in the school calendar. Every year the P7 children put a lot of effort into preparing for and participating in the event. The children undertake a variety of activities such as selling baked goods, singing, dancing, playing music and short dramas.
Children from Bunscoil An Traonaoigh and Moat PS join with our pupils to make this a memorable day for all involved. As a result of their efforts, the schools have been shortlisted for the Angel Heritage Award. Some children from the school donned some appropriate costumes today and participated in a photo shoot to promote the award.
