On Monday, St. Ronan's received the Gold Ambassador School Award from Sustrans officer, Laura. We are the first school in Northern Ireland to receive this award!
The occasion was marked by an assembly with Laura presenting a number of pupils with active travel prizes. Some of our regular walkers were then presented with a framed certificate for our continued efforts to promote and participate in active travel to and from school.
Thank you to all pupils, staff and parents who have put in a great effort over the past three years to promote active travel within St. Ronan's. This would not have been possible without you!
We now turn our attention to the Big Walk and Wheel! We hope to see as many of you as possible making active travel journeys throughout the two week period!
