Fermanagh and Omagh District Council visit Primary 6!
15th Oct 2019
Primary 6 had a very fun and engaging day outside exploring all about biodiversity with Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. It was a super start to their Shared Education with the Moat Primary School.
The children had a mini beast hunt on our very own school grounds, they found a range of insects such as; woodlouse, ants, centipedes, snails, earwigs and slugs. Primary 6 were excellent detectives.
After break, the children went on an Autumn ID walk allowing them to explore and search for a range of leaves, fruits and seeds. Primary 6 couldn't believe how many items on the checklist they could find.
It was a great insight into nature on our own school grounds, it made the children more aware of the world around them.
