Fair Day
On Thursday 6th June the children from Mr Shannon's and Mr. Foy's classes took part in the annual Fair Day, which was held in the Market Yard. This event is one which has been enjoyed by the P7 from the school for many years. The members of the Lisnaskea Historical Society are to congratulated on the way they continue to support and organise this great event.
A huge thank you to the children and adults who prepared so much delicious food to sell!! There mustn't be a bag of sugar left in the town! As well as the sweet treats, there were free range eggs and bags of sticks for sale.
The children also made a great effort to dress up in correct period costume.
The children sold their wares enthusiastically and earned a handsome profit.
Thanks again to everybody who helped.
Art Competition
Many of the children entered an art competition. The themes were "Aghalurcher" or "Ancient Irish Crafts." The overall winner from St. Ronan's was Hannah Mc Laughlin. Congratulations, Hannah!
