Egg Mummies

As part of our classes study of Ancient Egypt we are learning about the process of mummification.   Small groups have been given a hard boiled egg and have buried it in salt.   Hard boiled eggs have a lot of water in them and are similar to any tissue.  During this time the students will record the egg's mass and circumference.  Continue to check out this page for weekly updates!
