P5 took part in the Spring Bulbs for Schools Investigation over the past school year.
We planted daffodil and crocus bulbs back in mid October. Even during online learning, pupils in school were able to check on the progress of the bulbs. Weather data was collected and the height of the growing daffodils was measured each week in March.
St Ronan's pupils were awarded 'Highly Commended' for their efforts during the investigation and pupils were provided with Super Scientist certificates for their participation in the programme.
We were also gifted with some seeds including pumpkin and sunflower seeds, which we intend to plant this week!
