On Sunday last, the Confirmation classes were given the opportunity to take "The Pledge." Many of the children took the opportunity and have promised, with the support of their parents, to abstain from alcoholic drink until they are 18 years old and to abstain from illicit drugs for life. Canon Jimmy was on hand to assist the children. We thank him sincerely for all the time he has spent with the children as they made their Confirmation journey.
