This week we celebrated ‘Catholic Schools Week’. We had a chance to talk about different types of love. There is the love that our parents and grandparents have for us and that we have for them. There is also the love we have for doing things we like.
In our Catholic school, as a community, we learn that God loves us very much and wants us to know and to love him too, even if we make mistakes.
In Primary 3 we looked at the story of the Prodigal Son. The boys and girls completed pictures on this, as well as drawings and labels of people and things that they love.
Primary 2 completed a picture of themselves asking God to take care of those they love. The children were encouraged to join in silent prayer to God. Have a look at some activities that have been sent in from home! Well done, everyone!
