Can you believe we are half way into October already!?! ?
we are really settling so well into school now and we know all of the rules and routines. Miss Judge has been making us grow our brains really big as we do lots of lessons throughout each day. Staying to 2 hasn’t been easy, but we are starting to get used to it. We love learning! ?
In numeracy, we have been working hard on matching, sorting, finding the odd one out, naming shapes and our numbers 1 and 2. ?
In literacy we have been working on our phonics, focusing on our group 1 sounds. We have been beginning to blend and read simple 2 letter words. We are getting really good at writing our names and holding the pencil correctly, especially during hand writing lessons. ?
Recently, in WAU, we have been focusing on the season of Autumn. We have really enjoyed autumnal stories and play. Play has also taken a spooky turn as we get excited for Halloween ?. We could tell you so much more but we think the pictures do most of the talking so have a look ?
