The children in Mr. Hanna's Primary 4 and Mrs. McGirr's Primary 5 classes that are participating in the innovative Beyond Bricks programme are not only learning key skills like emotional understanding and effective communication but are also having plenty of fun along the way. This engaging six-week initiative, co-delivered by Mindwise facilitators, focuses on helping children better understand their emotions, express themselves constructively, and build stronger relationships with peers.
Activities within the programme are designed to be both educational and enjoyable, blending creative problem-solving with interactive play. By fostering a supportive environment, Beyond Bricks empowers children to develop essential life skills while building their confidence.
As this initial stage of the programme reaches its conclusion, children are preparing for a celebratory assembly to showcase what they’ve learned. Scheduled for 2nd Dec, the event will bring together parents, teachers, and facilitators to applaud the children’s achievements. Highlights will include presentations, performances, and stories from the students themselves, reflecting the personal growth they’ve experienced.
