Last week children attended their weekly assembly during which their successes in the Lisnaskea Feis were celebrated.
Children put so much effort into their artwork, reciting their poems for verse speaking, completing their handwriting, and drafting poems for the own poetry category, it was great to see some of these gain deserved recognition. Accompanying the plaudits of their peers, successful pupils received medals, certificates or high commendation from the Feis.
Additional to these awards, Mrs Darcy acknowledged the accomplishments of many pupils, and also identified Mrs Smith's P6 class for a class award for leading by example in the canteen. With many pupils demonstrating great work ethic, commitment, determination, behaviour and manners, class teachers then faced the difficult task of selecting a star pupil from their class.
it was fair to say the individuals selected were very happy to receive this recognition but it was lovely to see their peers excited to acknowledge and applaud them on their acheivement.
Very well done to everyone in the P1AH, P1DK, P2CM, P2LP, P3SMD, P3/4PH and P6MS classes.
