Last week we had our final full school assembly of the academic year.
It brought about opportunities to celebrate success for achievement in class, for attendance and indeed for achievement in extracurricular activities.
Well done to everyone on their individual awards, including Mr Shannon having finally managed to fulfil his dream of being recognised as 'Student of the Week.'
The birthdays of some students were celebrated with a special milestone for Marion also recognised.
The girls' Gaelic team received praise for their endeavours having reached the final of the competition, although unfortunately lost out to Teemore.
Mr Shannon also had some heartfelt words to share with the children before we got to hear a super poem, written by Brian McCabe, narrated by a group of Primary 5 children about Mr Shannon.
