This term we have been working very hard exploring our new topic - The Titanic!
So far the children have been learning all about where it was built, how it was built and the different materials that were used to build it.
This week the children have been 'steering' their own learning by researching facts about the different type of people that were on board the ship and what their journey might have been like. The children were split into teams to research what it would have been like on the first, second or third class parts of the ship. They used iPad's , fact books and the computer to find out what it would have been like. When they were finished the children then all came together as a class and the each group shared what they had found out.
It was great seeing how enthusiastic and interested the children were when completing this task. :-)
