ACTIVE WEEK!
This week is our Schools Active Week!
P.3/4. have been embracing every opportunity to be active, with dance for P.E. on Monday, Circuits and The Daily Mile Marathon Challenge on Tuesday, and Dodgeball in P.E. on Wednesday. Have a look at our action shots!
Being active is one of our targets to progress towards the Green Flag reward for Eco-Schools and The Gold Sustrans Reward!
Along with being active, we are putting a focus on healthy living. So this week to compliment the physical activity we have talked a lot about being healthy, in particular healthy eating. We even did a taste test on Monday with lot's of different fruit! We encourage all children to have a healthy snack at break time.
But we aren't finished yet, with 2 more days to go of our Active week! We will keep you posted!
Please Note: Friday is 'Ditch the Dark Day' where the children can come to school for a non-uniform day in bright, colourful and reflective clothing. To finish active week, Mr Foy has also planned a walk from Castle Park in the morning to school, if the children could be there to walk up between 8:30 and 8:45am. There will be some adults in school as normal for any non-walkers!
